Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

Chocolate cream pie should be creamy, buttery with a touch of salt, also I prefer more crunchiness on the top and softness on the inside.

Here Is The Step By Step Process of Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe


  • Chocolate cookie crumbs 1 ½ cups
  •  Unsalted butter melted ¼ cup
  • Semisweet chocolate 5 oz
  • Unsalted butter chopped 4 Tsp.
  • Vanilla extract 1 1/4 tsp
  • Granulated sugar ½ cup
  • Cornstarch 3 Tsp.
  • Salt for taste
  • 2% fat milk 1 1/4 cups
  • 18% cream 1 ¼ cups
  • Egg yolks 6
  • Whipping cream 1 cup
  • Icing sugar 2 tsp.


STEP 1: Take a regular pie pan of 8 – 9 inches ad grease it lightly, Now ta a bowl and add 1 ½ cups of chocolate cookie crumbs and ¼ cup of melted butter, make sure to mix them, lets spread the mixture into the pie pan and bake it for about 10 to 12 minutes on 350 F.

STEP 2: Take another bowl and add 4 tsp of unsalted cubed butter, 5 Oz of Semisweet chocolate, ¼ tsp of pure vanilla extract, let put a strainer on the top of the bowl.

STEP 3: Take a pan and put a cup of sugar, 2-3 tsp. of corn starch,, and a pinch of salt for taste, now add dairy products like 1 ¼ cups of milk and 1 ¼ cups of cream, Make sure to cook them for a while, Now add 6 egg yolks and cook until the mixture becomes dense.

STEP 4: Let’s pour the cooked material on the chocolate chips through a strainer, make sure to whisk them until the mixture becomes melted. Let’s put it in the freezer for about 2 hours.

STEP 5: take your pie crust from the oven and spread the creamy chocolate mixture on the top, You can also serve it with a scope of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
