Garlic Herb Roasted Turkey Recipe

Here Is The Step By Step Process of Garlic Herb Roasted Turkey Recipe


  • 12 to 14 lbs Turkey
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tbsp baking power
  • 1 apple
  • 2 sweet onion
  • 2 lemon
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 bunch of mixed (rosemary, thyme, sage)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup


Step 1: Take salt, sugar, baking powder, and ground black pepper in a bowl and mix it well.

Step 2: Take out the 14 lbs turkey fully thawed, dry it properly, and remove the neck bone from the main cavity and giblet from the chest cavity.

Step 3: After that take out the mixture of salt, sugar, baking powder, and ground black pepper and rub it on the turkey and make sure to cover all the crevices. Pour the remaining mixture into the main cavity.

Step 4: After rubbing the mixture take an apple, garlic cloves, celery, sweet onion, a bunch of rosemary, thyme, sage, and lemon. Put them inside the turkey.

Step 5: Arrange the apple, onion, lemon, and bay leaves on the baking tray and place the turkey on the top, set it aside.

Step 6: Melt the unsalted butter in the microwave and mix it with the crushed garlic, dried rosemary, thyme, sage, and maple syrup, mix it well until a greenish color arrives.

Step 7: Baste the mixture over the backside of the turkey and baste the remaining garlic butter on the chest side. Bake it at 325F for 90 minutes.

Step 8: Turn the roasting pan 180 degrees and cover the breast area with the help of the foil, then bake it for 90 minutes additional.

Step 9: Your Garlic and Herb  Roasted Turkey, rest it for 30 minutes before serving.
