Malted Walnut Pie is a very special pie. It contains malty walnuts, crispy malt biscuits, and chocolate drizzle on top. These ingredients blend together perfectly that giving us an extraordinary taste of the sweet malted walnut pie.

Here Is The Step By Step Process of Malted Walnut Pie Recipe


  • Flour (Maida) 1 ½ cups
  • Sugar ¼ cups
  • Salt or taste
  • Cold Butter 1 ¼  cups
  • Egg 1
  • Brown Sugar 80g 
  • Starch/Corn Syrup 80g 
  • Water 4 – 5 tsp.
  • Eggs 3
  • Cinnamon Powder 1tsp.
  • Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
  • Walnuts 1 1/3 cups


STEP 1: Take a bowl and add 1 ½ cups of flour, 1/4 cups of sugar, 1 cup of cold butter, a pinch of salt, and an egg, crush the butter with your fingers, make sure to knead the mixture until it gets a dough shape. Wrap t in plastic paper and keep it at room temperature.

STEP 2: Take a pan of hot water and put a bowl on the top of it, now add ¼ cups of butter, 80g of brown sugar, 80g of corn starch syrup, and 4 -5 tsp of water, whisk them properly till they melt.

STEP 3: Now add 3 eggs, 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, and 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract, whisk the whole mixture again.

STEP 4: Take your pie dough and roller it with help of a roller, Now set it on a regular pie pan, spread 120g of walnuts, Let’s pour the liquid mixture on the top, make sure to spread it evenly.

STEP 5: Bake it for about 30 – 40 minutes on 375 F.

Your delicious walnut pie is ready.
